I am only a small look at the Renewable Energy Advancements in the United States but I want everyone who is concerned to know more. I can not answer that question “What is Going On With Renewable Energy?” but I can tell you some things that I do know.
First over the past 5 years during the Green Energy Boom here in the U.S. we have gone from being very dependent on Foreign developers to holding our own. For example with Foreign Wind Turbine designs and advancements we mostly did nothing but provide cash, land, labor and access to the U.S. for Wind Farm Development. As expected the U.S. and our workers are now the best developers for green energy in the world. Even the leading manufacturers from outside the U.S. have decided that their products if erected on U.S. soil will be produced here. Maybe to save money in the assembly process but none the same it gave us control of assets and put American men and women to work. Isn’t that the priority? So we achieved a goal and we developed a new market that will also save our planet and provide for our future children and their livelihoods. Mmmmm did we really?
Lets go ahead a look at this now. In April it appears that the Congress failed to attach the Federal Production Tax Credit extensions for wind. Most of us have heard of PTC and have come to expect an extension. Well with this passing and no extenstion attached to the payroll tax cut what else could make it worse? It is election year so the chances of a stand alone extension going through Congress is looking slim. This is where we all need to make sure we are heard and understood. We need to alert our Congress to just what is about to happen.
In the economy of the U.S. if we do not have an extension of PTC than we are facing yet another industry that will be forced to perform massive layoffs within the Wind Industry. We are going to notice the loss of Wind Energy and it’s job market plus energy producing benefits. You can see how much effect there is in the country already if you are watching the wind energy stocks. I believe the other clean renewable energy sectors will also start showing drastic drops inside their industry stock.
Many companies will be effected and the renewable energy developers will most likely feel it first. The developers are the companies that rely on PTC more than the rest. So with this said these companies will not go away but what they will do is go work in other Countries. Canada is sure to benefit from cheaper wind materials and equipment that should have been used in the United States. Many of the companies will be work through some of this chaos since their job values were in place prior to the expected PTC expiration.
Many persons still feel that Fossil Fuel is the best way to go for our future. There are many good reasons why we continue with Fossil Fuel and we are not going into all that here. Many know that combined heat and power plants called (CHP) have a fuel efficiency rate better than 90 percent while converting fuel into electrical production plus heat. This said renewable energy is a growing market that has made huge advances and will continue to make huge technical advancements for years and years to come.
We must not stop supporting renewables like Wind Energy. It is going to be something if we allow all of our neighboring countries develop the future energy sources.

Is our planet breaking down or is it just a joke? Are we running out of renewable resources or are we being lied to by people in charge? For the planet to endure, do we all need to adopt an environmentally friendly way of life? Will change improve our well being at a time when health costs are going up? The ensuing generation must learn about how to live green to help the environment.
Gardens are part of our heritage and it was once common to grow foods to eat. It is not merely playing in the garden but the taking care of plants, vegetables and trees that we wish for our children to enjoy. Learning is the answer and instructing our young ones how, for instance, a green plant creates oxygen from carbon dioxide. Nourishment, clean air and drinking pure water all can lead to a healthy body. The health of our environment may depend on a return to an eco friendly lifestyle.
We live in a planet of conveniences and rapid change but is there a cost to be paid for this. Our average lifetime may be rising but what about the quality of our lives? Medical advancements have eliminated particular diseases, but have they added health conditions that now plague our society? Living green will better the health of the environment and make life worth living. All that is called for is to condition a generation of children to the benefits of living green.
Wind power and solar power can replace our strong dependence on coal and oil, and go a long way towards cleaning up the polluted atmosphere. The changes should be carried out today before it is too late. Are there individuals who are prepared to witness the end of our planet? Why else would we sit by and watch the planet envenomed in this manner? Will there come a point when we cannot reverse the toxins in our food, clean the air or make certain our water is good to drink?
There was a time when the world moved at a slower tempo and people were important for more than just what they were going to purchase. The welfare of a person have to be paramount rather than any monetary gain through someone being in poor health. It is time to slow down, work for the welfare of all, and become cognizant of what is happening to the world we live in.
The importance of profits may need to be given less focus when viewing solutions such as wind and solar energy. It is time for our children to learn how to start living a healthy lifestyle, using natural resources without wasting them, and that there is not another earth to move to. This is the only earth we have, and to be responsible citizens we must leave it a better place for our youth. If we all act today, we have the chance to live in a greener planet.

Do we believe the earth is actually in mortal danger? Are we being drained of renewable resources or are we being lied to by those in charge? Would deciding to follow green living by the majority of earth’s population save the earth? With the absence of full wellness and the growing cost of healthcare, is it time to go back to natural ways to save lives? If we want a healthier world, the education of our youngsters in environmental issues is important.
Past generations cultivated their own food and reveled in tending to their gardens. The youngsters of today do not know the fun of planting vegetables in the back yard, or maintaining a flower garden, or even planting a tree. Green plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen but how many kids are aware of this? Nourishment, fresh air and drinking fresh water all can lead to a healthy body. Returning to living green could reverse a lot of the injury that has been done to the environment.

Developing green living habits should become a priority for each of us.

Is Nuclear Energy The Answer To Fossil Fuels?
September 30, 2010 by Roger Vanderlely
Nuclear energy is held up as the obvious successor to fossil fuels as a solution for producing base load mainstream electricity. But is nuclear a viable long term solution or just another quick fix?
There is no doubt that fossil fuels have significant problems associated with their use. Peak Oil production will be the first to hit home. With an ever growing demand for oil production will eventually be unable to keep up and may have already passed into decline. More serious than this is the issue of pollution and the possibility of serious and practically irreversible climate change resulting from pumping endless amounts of Carbon Dioxide and other products into the atmosphere.
So how does Nuclear energy stand up as an alternative to fossil fuels in terms of a sustainable source of electricity production? There are several concerns about Nuclear energy that have given it a bad name. Reactor problems such as those that caused the Three Mile Island and Chernobyl incidents, along with several others, are far fewer in number relative to the scale of electricity production than compared to casualties in the mining sector associated with oil and coal.
Storage of Nuclear waste is also largely an issue of the past with technology now available to store Nuclear waste in solid form, reducing virtually to zero the possibility of leakage, ground water contamination and so forth.
Weapons grade Plutonium-239 is another unpleasant byproduct of Nuclear energy. Enrichment of the fuel source is necessary to make it economically viable and this is where the Plutonium is produced. The use of nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the Second World War has forever given nuclear weapons a bad name. It is worth considering though that production of these weapons is a political issue and just because they can be made does not mean we should ignore the possible benefits of Nuclear energy technology.
But perhaps the most significant issue is that Nuclear energy is itself based on a non-renewable resource of Uranium. This fact alone should be enough reason for us not to place too much stock in it as a long term energy source. Given that worldwide energy use is increasing continuously and will do so far into the future, it is easy to see that Nuclear energy will one day face its own peak of production.
Surely it is not responsible to replace fossil fuels with another energy source that is just as doomed to fail in the future. Supporters of Nuclear power say it is the solution we need to reduce emissions immediately, and while it would do this we need to be looking further into the future.
To make correct, responsible decisions that take into account not only our own welfare but also that of our children and their children, we need to adopt wide scale renewable energy in the form of Solar and Wind power. These proven technologies have the capacity to meet our energy demands TODAY with no adverse future effects, assuming they are implemented in an intelligent way.
Governments around the world need to start making intelligent decisions that benefit both us and the generations to come. A secure, clean energy source is obviously the way forward so large scale renewable energy production must be implemented immediately.
