I am only a small look at the Renewable Energy Advancements in the United States but I want everyone who is concerned to know more. I can not answer that question “What is Going On With Renewable Energy?” but I can tell you some things that I do know.

First over the past 5 years during the Green Energy Boom here in the U.S. we have gone from being very dependent on Foreign developers to holding our own. For example with Foreign Wind Turbine designs and advancements we mostly did nothing but provide cash, land, labor and access to the U.S. for Wind Farm Development.  As expected the U.S. and our workers are now the best developers for green energy in the world. Even the leading manufacturers from outside the U.S. have decided that their products if erected on U.S. soil will be produced here. Maybe to save money in the assembly process but none the same it gave us control of assets and put American men and women to work. Isn’t that the priority? So we achieved a goal and we developed a new market that will also save our planet and provide for our future children and their livelihoods.  Mmmmm did we really?

Lets go ahead a look at this now. In April it appears that the Congress failed to attach the Federal Production Tax Credit extensions for wind. Most  of  us have heard of PTC and have come to expect an extension. Well with this passing and no extenstion attached to the payroll tax cut what else could make it worse? It is election year so the chances of a stand alone extension going through Congress is looking slim. This is where we all need to make sure we are heard and understood. We need to alert our Congress to just what is about to happen.

In the economy of the U.S. if we do not have an extension of PTC than we are facing yet another industry that will be forced to perform massive layoffs within the Wind Industry. We are going to notice the loss of Wind Energy and it’s job market plus energy producing benefits. You can see how much effect there is in the country already if you are watching the wind energy stocks. I believe the other clean renewable energy sectors will also start showing drastic drops inside their industry stock.

Many companies will be effected and the renewable energy developers will most likely feel it first. The developers are the companies that rely on PTC more than the rest.  So with this said these companies will not go away but what they will do is go work in other Countries. Canada is sure to benefit from cheaper wind materials and equipment that should have been used in the United States.  Many of the companies will be work through some of this chaos since their job values were in place prior to the expected PTC expiration.

Many persons still feel that Fossil Fuel is the best way to go for our future. There are many good reasons why we continue with Fossil Fuel and we are not going into all that here. Many know that combined heat and power plants called (CHP) have a fuel efficiency rate better than 90 percent while converting fuel into electrical production plus heat. This said renewable energy is a growing market that has made huge advances and will continue to make huge technical advancements for years and years to come.

We must not stop supporting renewables like Wind Energy. It is going to be something if we allow all of our neighboring countries develop the future energy sources.

Thanks For Reading

Top 2 Renewable Energy Alternatives

Do you want to learn how you can run your home with renewable energy alternatives? With prices of gas and electricity rising rapidly every week, more and more consumers and households are looking for ways to cut down on electricity consumption or production of electrical power via renewable alternatives.

1. Do You Really Need Renewable Energy Alternatives?

Due to decreasing supplies or coal and gas as well as rapidly rising demand worldwide especially from Asian countries, the prices of gas and other natural resources is expected to reach all time highs in the near future. If you don’t want your income to be consumed by expensive electricity in the near future, you will definitely want to consider building renewable power systems, which is a really simple and affordable task.

2. Which Are the Top 2 Renewable Energy Alternatives?

The 2 easiest and most effective systems that I have built are based on wind and solar energy systems.

They are great ways to produce electrical power as they harness free sources of energy that are both renewable and clean.

3. How to Use Wind Powered Turbines to Run Your Home?

This system consists of blades that rotate and produce kinetic energy when spun by wind. The blades are very strong and are built to maximize kinetic energy production. It can even work in very cold temperatures going as low as -4 degrees F. There is a CPU controlled unit in the turbine that prevents the blades from over spinning if the wind is too strong.

4. How to Use Solar Powered Renewable Energy Alternatives?

Harnessing these simple sources can be very easy if you know how to build devices for this purpose.

Re-live with Renewable Energy

Eco living refers to living with minimal emission of carbon content in the environment. And this can be achieved with the use of renewable energy. This clearly means use only those forms of energy which can be renewed or recycled without leaving any hazardous affect in the atmosphere. It  is the energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat, which are renewable (naturally replenished). About 16% of global final energy consumption comes from renewable, with 10% coming from traditional biomass, which is mainly used for heating, and 3.4% from hydroelectricity. New renewable (small hydro, modern biomass, wind, solar, geothermal, and bio-fuels) accounted for another 3% and are growing very rapidly. The share of renewable in electricity generation is around 19%, with 16% of global electricity coming from hydroelectricity and 3% from new renewable.

Renewable energy substitutes conventional fuels in electricity generation, hot water/space heating, motor fuels and rural off-grid energy services.

Climate change concern, in addition with high oil prices, peak oil and greater government support, has given rise to renewable power incentive and commercialization. According to a 2011 projection by the International Energy Agency, solar power generators may produce most of the world’s electricity within 50 years, which would dramatically reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases that harm the environment. The mainstream forms of renewable energy are wind power, hydro power, solar energy, geothermal energy, bio fuels and bio mass.

When airflows are used to run wind turbines, the kinetic energy in the wind is converted to mechanical energy. This mechanical energy can then be used to produce electricity or drive machinery.

Hydro power is form of renewable energy where the power in water is harnessed and used to generate electricity. The cost of hydroelectricity is relatively low, making it a competitive source of renewable electricity.

Solar energy can be defined as the conversion of sunlight into electricity. This can be done directly with the use of photovoltaic or indirectly by concentrated solar power. Commercial concentrated solar power plants were first developed in the 1980s.

Geothermal energy, thermal energy generated and stored in the earth. Thermal energy is the energy that determines the temperature of matter. Geothermal power is cost effective, reliable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly, but has historically been limited to areas near tectonic plate boundaries.

Bio mass, another source of renewable energy as the energy it contains comes from the sun. It is a biological material from living organisms. This is then converted to bio fuel, through biological carbon fixation.

New and emerging technologies are still under development and include cellulosic ethanol, hot-dry-rock geothermal power, and ocean energy. With the use of these forms of energies, let your pockets relax and earth be a greener place to live in. Use renewable energy, and let the environment rejuvenate!!

Productive Uses of renewable energy provides more benefit to the environment, strengthen our energy security, and create jobs locally; Author is mainly associated with renewable energy resources work and working hard for it. For more details just visit ecoliving in Ireland

Make Money With a Green Energy Company That Exceeds Federal Renewable Standards – 4 Key Components

Article by Otis Brown Jr.

As the green movement gains momentum, nothing compliments it more than energy deregulation. Energy deregulation in and of itself, requires local utility companies that have, for decades, monopolized the supply of gas and electricity to residential and commercial customers, to allow smaller companies to supply gas and electricity to those same customers. This phenomenon has created a tremendous opportunity for multilevel-marketers to earn a substantial passive residual income.

Energy deregulation has led to the birth of smaller companies that can be more focused on the contents of the gas and electricity they supply. They can do this because deregulation also allows them to use the delivery mechanisms already set up by existing companies.

If you are a multi-level-marketer looking to cash in on this opportunity, you’ll want to join a company that aggressively supports the green movement, while giving you an opportunity to make money and help save the environment. Needless to say, there are many things to consider when selecting a company. But, if you can find one that fosters the four key components outlined below, you will realize financial independence. It goes without saying that no matter which company you choose, you must have a home based business profit blueprint in place to support your marketing efforts.

These are the four key components your multi-level-marketing green energy company must have:

1. Purpose/Core Values. The company’s purpose must be to provide greener energy at an affordable price that will allow Independent Associates and customers to make a difference in the environment and their personal lives by simply switching energy providers. The company’s Core Values should include:

Environmental Sustainability – creating a culture that fosters the delivery of a greener product.

Go Green With Renewable Energy

Article by Paul Goldman

Like everything in life, there are a number of laws that govern the use of both renewable and non-renewable resources. All law is the same really – laws are what are known as the primary authorities such as case law, statutes, rules and regulations. In terms of renewable energy law you may hear about policies or politics of energy, these too will be discussed in detail here.

In the U.S. energy is regulated through the United States Department of Energy. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 is a bill that was passed on July 25 2005 and it stated that the country needed to do something about the growing energy problems and the US Energy Policy changed from this point forward. Tax incentives were provided as were loan guarantees for anyone taking part in finding alternative energy sources. The Energy Policy Act is the key piece of renewable energy law.

As part of renewable energy law, a production tax credit (PTC) was included in the 2005 cornerstone policy as an incentive for domestic wind power technologies. Investors can claim for 10 years a 1.9-cent-per-kilowatt-our deduction. This is actually one of the things that drove the growth of the wind industry here in the United States. Currently, our wind industry is growing faster than any other developed country. The government included this in the bill because they could see it being effective, but not only has it been effective it has been very low cost as well. A renewable energy law such as this is required in order to boost the renewable energy economy. It is important that the government continues with an incentive such as this so that the industry will continue to grow.

Not only did the Energy Policy Act of 2005 allow wind energy to develop, but it also put geothermal power on the map too. As well as having a production tax credit, (PTC) Geothermal power received increased funding and support from a number of federal agencies.

In 2007 renewable energy law was discussed in a number of pieces of legislation but nothing was made into a law. At least noise was made, and congress is now aware that legislation will be questioned again. However, further energy bills have been passed since then and they have stated that the Department of Energy will spend no less than $ 95m annually in research and development into geothermal energy.

The renewable energy law also takes marine energy into consideration. Marine energy involves using the power of the waves and the tides to generate electricity. As part of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, the Department of Energy was required to consider ocean energy in its group of alternative energy sources. After this act was passed, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) looked into developing projects involving wave and tidal technology. A number of projects have been started up in the United States the biggest ones being in New York, San Francisco Bay, Rhode Island and Washington State.

The great thing about renewable energy law is that it forces congress to do something about alternatives to energy sources. In five years since this bill was passed, there has been so much research and development down into these alternative sources that the general population is considering these options over more traditional fossil fuelled power sources.Blog: http://renewableenergygogreen.blogspot.com/

New battery for renewable energy

Scientists from the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory have created a new sodium-nickel chloride battery to store renewable energy. toshiba pa3356u-1bas battery.

Their goal is to save the energy produced by wind and sun. As of now a lot of the renewable energy is wasted. If it can’t be used immediately, it’s gone.

“It’s mainly for grid storage. It’s to help alleviate issues associated with renewables. Renewables are great but they are very intermittent,” said Kerry Meinhardt, Senior Scientist from PNNL.

Meinhardt adds that by changing the shape of the battery they’re able to use more renewable energy from wind and solar power. toshiba pa3593u-1bas battery.

“We are going from a tubular design and we are trying to move to a plainer battery.

This hopefully allows the battery to be backed in a smaller area and be more efficient and have lower resistances and faster charge and discharge times,” said Meinhardt.

In fact, research shows that the new flat batteries provide 30% more power than the older ones. Which means the renewable energy can be used more efficiently.

“So you need to store that power so when the wind is there and the sun is there you can store that power and use at a later date when it’s actually needed,” said Meinhardt.

But scientists still have a long way to go before the sodium batteries will be used. Their next step is to create a much larger model. acer travelmate 2600 battery.

“We need very large batteries and a lot of them.

These are going to be massive battery banks to hold them,” said Meinhardt.

Battery company is an operated online retailer of high-quality electronics accessories, specialising in laptop batteries and laptop ac adapter, battery chargers, camera batteries, camcorder batteries, power tool batteries and mobile phone batteries. Battery company has quickly grown to one of the top online Australian retailers of electronics accessories, offering generic product brands that provide the same quality as the big brand names but at half the price.
